In addition to free pick-up in Markham (ON, Canada) we offer affordable shipping options around the world.

As a youth-run small business that operates with a mission of passing down the Tamil-language, we strive to maintain affordable shipping rates to ensure that our growing collection of Tamil children's books are accessible to all Tamil children, across the diaspora. 

Shipping within North America

  • Ontario: flat-rate $12 (CAD) 
  • Rest of Canada: flat-rate $14.9 (CAD) 
  • U.S: flat-rate $14.9 (USD) 

International Shipping

  • United Kingdom: £14.9 GBP (under 2 kg), £25 GBP (2.1 - 4 kg), £35 GBP (4.1 - 6 kg)
  • France: €14.9 EUR (under 2 kg), £25 EUR (2.1 - 4 kg), £40 EUR (4.1 - 6 kg)
  • Switzerland: CHF 19 (under 1.5 kg), CHF 29 (1.6 - 4 kg), CHF 40 (4.1 - 6 kg)
  • Germany: €14.9 EUR (under 2 kg), £25 EUR (2.1 - 4 kg), £40 EUR (4.1 - 6 kg)
  • Denmark: kr 125.00 DKK (0-1 kg), kr 175.00 DKK (1.1 - 2 kg), kr 250.00 DKK (2.1 - 4 kg), kr 350 (4.1 - 6 kg)
  • Norway: 250 NOK (0-1.5 kg) 

We have different shipping costs for shipments to Europe based on the weight of the package. We want to make shipping as affordable as possible, and as shipping often costs more for us than we charge, we do subsidize shipping on our end. If you want to order above the maximum shipping weight for your country, then please place your order separately. It will be shipped out on the same day, but in a separate mailer. 

Other Shipping Info
  • All orders are shipped within 7-14 business days after processing excluding holidays and you will be notified of any delay. We do not receive a tracking link from our shipping provider until it has been processed from their end. At times, it can take up to 3 business days after we have dropped an order off with our shipping provider, for us to receive a tracking link to share with you.
  • Shipping with Canada and the U.S. is estimated to take 5-8 days and 5-22 days for international orders upon being dispatched. We kindly ask that you be patient and recognize that as a student-run small business, we do not have the capacity to guarantee shipping times. However, if you have not received any update beyond two weeks, please do not hesitate to contact us! 
  • If you need your order by a certain date, send us an email or message prior to placing the order and we can let you know if we can make it happen!
  • If there is an issue with availability, we will contact you by phone or via email to discuss options.
  • If you have any issues with your delivery, or your order was not completed to your full satisfaction, please contact us at info@chittukuruvi-books.com and we will sort it out for you.
Returns/Exchange 
  • We do not offer returns or exchanges. All purchases are final.
  • If you received a defective or wrong item, please contact us immediately via email or Instagram and we will sort the issue out for you.
